Was what I call a clear out day. We played to our producer all the tracks we had left which was 4. I wrote about 80 songs for this record in two years and now we are down to the best 13 original tracks.
The whole process has been amazing. We started off rehearsing songs and ideas this time last year and every chance I got I would take them to the band in sound checks, in hotel room, on the tour bus and even at airports. I have wrote songs from blues, to rock, to pop and the album will finally have one sound. That's the hardest thing to do on record is to make your songs different but to keep a theme and specific sound throughout. That was my goal this time around to keep the snogs raw, live sounding, bluesy, energetic and guitar based.
