Woke up this morning “dun dun dun dun dun”... it was 27 degrees “dun dun dun dun dun”... It’s time to do pre production “dun dun dun dun dun”... for the whole world to see.
We met with our record label and had a lunch /meeting at 12 to discuss the plans and direction of the songs that I wrote. We all woke up pretty jet lagged this morning after traveling 23 hours + yesterday to get to Curacao. I think we was running off excitement and aeroplane food. Everyone was on the same page in the meeting. It’s good to reference what direction we want to go in.

This time I’ve decided to go back to my roots and where I first fell in love with music the 60s style. I’m going for that real Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix vibe. The band and I have been working hard in the uk and have done over 1 month of studio time where I brought the songs to them which we recorded as demo tracks. Now it’s time for our producer Gregory Elias to shape and mould them and set them in stone now. The band and I spent this day setting up the equipment. We have brought our own home studio to set up in the rehearsal room. Yesterday we travelled through the airport with 9 suitcases haha. Phil was in charge of pushing the trolley. Let’s say he’s as good as a driver as steering that trolley haha. So today we a meet and greet and set up kind of day. The real work starts tomorrow where we will get to the studio at 10am to go over 2 songs we did in the studio in the UK and show case them to our producer who will meet us at 3pm.
