AWARD-WINNING AND CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BLUES ROCK GUITARIST

The award-winning and critically acclaimed blues artist, Laurence Jones from Liverpool, has opened for the likes of Ringo Starr, Sir Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Walter Trout and recently Status Quo.
After joining Buddy Guy on stage to jam and experience the blues first-hand,
Buddy remarked, "He’s like a young Eric Clapton", and that pretty much says it all.
Raised on the classical guitar and achieved Grade 8 Distinction at the age of 18, he now combines his musical heritage with the energy of the blues-rock that made him famous. Laurence Jones has built up a loyal fan base throughout the UK and Europe, signing his first record deal at just 17, gaining him many awards and accolades with his critically acclaimed blues album ‘Thunder In The Sky’ in 2012. Fast forward over a decade on the road and 1200+ shows under his belt. Laurence’s debut solo album ‘On My Own’ feels intimate and personal, yet simultaneously bursting with the power and tradition of the blues. Laurence Jones proves once again why he's considered one of the absolute top performers in the genre.
Despite his health challenges, Jones continues to add to a career that already includes multiple British Blues Awards, over 50,000 albums sold worldwide, and a #1 album on the Official UK Jazz & Blues chart. This time, however, the focus is less on charts and accolades and more on telling his story through stripped-down, heartfelt blues.
