AWARD-WINNING AND CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BLUES ROCK GUITARIST

Laurence Jones is an award-winning and critically acclaimed blues rock artist from Liverpool.
Laurence Jones has garnered numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. From being voted in the ‘Top 10 best guitarists in the world’ by music radar to being invited onstage to jam with blues legends such as Buddy Guy, Van Morrison, Johnny Winter & Walter Trout. Laurence was introduced into the British Blues Hall of Fame at an early age, and it’s easy to see why Laurence Jones has become a household name in the blues!

Laurence Jones is preparing to release the most personal project of his career.
His first-ever solo acoustic album, 'On My Own', arrives January 23, 2026, marking a major shift in direction for the UK artist.
The record comes after what Jones has described as the most difficult year of his life, battling Crohn’s disease. On My Own strips things back to the roots of his artistry, blending raw storytelling with traditional blues influences. “I found a way to keep going by going solo,” Jones said.
“Writing about my struggles and my blues, this is almost a rebrand, something new, just me and my acoustic guitar.
It’s intimate, heartfelt and takes me back to where it all began”

Jones was forced to rethink his trademark high-energy stage performances after doctors advised changes to protect his health. The adjustment sparked a more organic, intimate approach that now defines both the new record and his upcoming tour.
As an ambassador for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, Jones hopes the music resonates with others facing similar struggles.
The title track and first single, 'On My Own' became the centrepiece of the project. Recorded during a period of weight loss, fatigue, and pain, Jones described the song as both an outlet and a lifeline. “I really did feel the blues inside me as I was writing and recording this,
and I hope that raw emotion comes across,” he said
Determined to take full control of his career, Jones launched his own label, Ron Records, named in memory of his grandfather, and personally organised the 2026 solo tour. Each date has been carefully planned to balance his health with performance,
offering fans an intimate and deeply personal concert experience.
'On My Own' also reflects Jones’ musical foundation. Classically trained on guitar from the age of eight,
He fuses that discipline with a lifelong love of the blues, paying tribute to icons like Robert Johnson and Lightnin’ Hopkins.
The tour will also feature support from Jones’ fiancée, Amy Eftekhari. The pair first performed together at a 2015 benefit concert for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, and fans have long asked for a reunion. Eftekhari has performed backing vocals for Beverley Knight and Joss Stone,
and will release her debut EP, produced by Jones and Wayne Proctor, to coincide with the tour.
One of its highlights includes a love song co-written and performed by the couple.
Despite his health challenges, Jones continues to add to a career that already includes multiple British Blues Awards, over 50,000 albums sold worldwide, a #1 album on the UK Jazz & Blues chart, and tours supporting legends like Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, and Status Quo.
This time, however, the focus is less on charts and accolades and more on telling his story through stripped-down, heartfelt blues.
